Tropical Smoothie Recipe

This Tropical Smoothie Recipe is great for those who love smoothies. They are not only for the Summer months either. Being a healthy mix of fruit you can make one of these anytime and in the right quantity are great for the kids too. Thinking outside the square you can also use any fruit that is not being eaten and saves wastage. It is simple to make and good for you, so why not try this recipe. Enjoy!


3 bananas, mashed
2 scoops ice-cream
1 cup milk
1/2 cup crushed pineapple
2 teaspoons vanilla essence


Blitz all ingredients in a blender until smooth and creamy.


Add other fruits for more flavor e.g. Mangoes and Berries

Substitute milk for skim or lactose free milk

Replace ice cream with yogurt
